Hello Cold Bay, I work for a company that has a contract with the AK Dept. of Environmental Conservation to design oil spill response plans for environmentally sensitive areas near your community. ADEC and I will be having a meeting May 5, 6pm at the Cold Bay library to discuss these plans and get input about important areas that you would like to see protected near Cold Bay. Thought some of you might find this interesting. I met I man up here in Deadhorse that lived in Cold Bay back in 1960's His name is Bob Eckdale. Bob is the weather man up here. I helped him get unstuck from a snow drift two days ago. Bob said that he had some old pictures of Cold Bay from back in the 60's. I will see if I can get some and I'll give them to the City to display. Missing all my Fiends out there. Hope all is well. Hap
